Iran’s ‘It’s a Gray, Gray World!’ to vie at Swiss Fantoche fest

Iranian short animation ‘It’s a Gray, Gray World!’ has been slated to take part in the Fantoche International Animation Film Festival in Switzerland.

Produced and directed by Seyyed Mohsen Pour-Mohseni Shakib, the short toon will be screened at the main competition section of the Swiss event’s 20th run.

A brief synopsis for ‘It’s a Gray, Gray World!’ reads, “in a totally gray world, the true identity of a conservative young comes to light following a mere accident by a playful little boy. The people get scared and call the police to…”.

Seyyed Mohsen Pour-Mohseni Shakib is a prolific young filmmaker, who has already made a number of important works, such as ‘The Boot’, which has participated in famed global events, including the 49th Student Academy Awards in the US.

Fantoche International Animation Film Fest takes place annually in the city of Baden, Switzerland.

The last year’s edition of the event awarded Iranian short toon, ‘The Fourth Wall’ directed by Mahboubeh Kalaei.

This yea, the event will be held on September 6-11.
